Latest Canada Life Players of the Month
Canada Life International's Victoria Hotchkiss is pictured with the men's and women's players of the month.
The women's awards combined votes based on performances in September and October. Douglas Royal’s influential midfielder Bekki Cole, who is a key player in Wayne Lisy’s Canada Life IOMFA Representative squad, scored 14 goals in five appearances to earn her the senior Canada Life Player of the Month title.
Nineteen year old Megan Kelly was voted the U21 Player of the Month thanks to her performances for Peel. Megan scored three goals in that time, and is also looking ahead to selection for the Island Games in Guernsey next July.
The men's awards both went to Union Mills players, Jordan Crawley and Tyler Hughes (u21). Both impressed the Isle of Man Newspapers ratings panellists during October, in a month that saw the Millers claim a maximum 12 points. Seventeen year old forward, Hughes, is currently the second highest scorer in the league with 10 goals, behind team mate Luke Booth.
