Isle of Man County FA – The Youth Leadership Group is launching in November 2023! We are now recruiting Young Leaders.

What is the Isle of Man County FA Youth Leadership Group?

The Youth Leadership Group will be aimed at young people aged between 14 and 18 who are interested in developing their leadership skills, and are passionate about football and their community. 

What can you expect?

It aims to provide young people with leadership skills through football. All participants will complete a season-long project collaboratively with Isle of Man FA staff member, designed to inspire young people to take on leadership roles in their communities.

The Youth Leadership Project Group will gain transferable experience through delivering a project in their area of interest with the support of an Isle of Man FA staff member as a mentor. Projects will be focused on the following areas: 

- Football Participation
- Disability Football
- Referee Development
- Coach Development
- Diversity & Inclusion
- Social Media Marketing 
- Events Planning
- Youth Council
- Match Reporting (senior & junior matches)

Staff/volunteers at the Isle of Man FA will deliver the project professionally and with experienced coaches and facilitators with expertise in football and leadership development. The mentor will allow participants to learn and practice leadership skills such as communication, teamwork, and decision-making through football-related activities.
