Paul Henry Gold Cup win for the Os
Onchan outclassed Castletown with a 5-1 victory in the Paul Henry Gold Cup Final.
Despite Onchan starting well, Castletown took the lead with an Ashley Egan goal. Onchan drew level on 19 minutes through a Josh Kennaugh strike, which was followed four minutes later by a goal for Tom Lancaster who had replaced an injured Tom Creer.
In the second half, the Os extended their lead with a stunning 30 yard effort for Tom O'Neill. Substitute Sam Cubbon made it 4-1, before Stephen Whitley - the orchestrator of much of Onchan's attacking play - finally got on the scoresheet thanks to a thunderous half-volley.
Player of the match was Onchan captain, James Kerruish (shown left of Paul Henry, who is in the centre).
